St. Lawrence's, Warslow

The Church

The present church was built in 1820, on the site of an earlier church and the building, recently restored, retains its Georgian feel. The font dates from the 13th century and there is part of a late medieval cross in the churchyard There is Morris and Co. glass in the chancel and the reredos is the work of Italian prisoners of war. The family pew of the Harpur-Crewe family is an interesting feature.
